VALDOSTA — 美高梅博彩 will host the third annual Georgia Association for Health, Physical Education, 娱乐, and Dance Southeast District Workshop from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, in the P.E. Complex.
Presented in collaboration with Coastal Plains Regional Educational Service Agency, the Southeast District Workshop is an opportunity for physical education teachers throughout Georgia and bordering states to acquire, enhance, and refine their knowledge, skills, practices, and dispositions — with a focus on increasing student achievement and success. 学员将学习体育教育领域的最新最佳实践，包括他们可以在健身房内外使用的活动和最新的课程。
“In health and physical education, we believe in hands-on learning,” said Dr. Sonya Sanderson, interim head of vs上’s Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education. “Workshop participants will be able to take what they learn back to their respective schools and teach these new and exciting games and activities to their students.”
The keynote presenter is Nichole Wilder, assistant director for the Florida Department of Education’s Office of Healthy Schools. 她有20年的教育经验，其中包括9年的小学体育教师。 她将教授各种体育和技能活动。
