VALDOSTA — The 美高梅博彩 chapter of Beta Alpha Psi recently kicked off its fifth year with the Internal Revenue Service’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program.

Students are available to meet with area taxpayers from 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays in the first floor lobby of vs上’s Health Sciences and Business 政府 Building located at the intersection of Patterson Street and Pendleton Drive across from South Georgia Medical Center. 希望使用此服务的地区居民应在抵达校园时携带所有与税务有关的文件。

During the 2022 tax-filing season, vs上’s student volunteers completed 130 tax returns (15 percent more than the previous year) through the IRS VITA Program, representing an estimated economic impact of $270,000 (17 percent more than the previous year).

vs上’s Department of Accounting recently earned extended specialized accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), placing it among the top two percent of collegiate accounting programs worldwide.
vs上’s College of Business 政府 also earned extended AACSB accreditation for its Bachelor of Business 政府 and Master of Business 政府 programs, maintaining its position among the top five percent of the world’s business schools.
