美国-波兰会议（2018）

为什么庆祝呢?  Americans remember 11 November 1918 as "Armistice Day," the day of fighting during World War I.  Poles also celebrate the day, not only for a successful conclusion to the Great War, but to honor the restoration of Polish independence.  在一个多世纪的被征服之后，波兰爱国者重新控制了他们的土地。  这开始了一场新的斗争，这场斗争又持续了三年，直到独立得到保证。  美国强烈支持这些努力，首先是伍德罗·威尔逊总统对波兰独立的有力支持。  停战后不到两个月，美国和波兰建立了外交关系。  从那时起，即使在冷战最激烈的时期，两国也保持着友好关系。  今天，波兰和美国有着良好的关系，我们的会议希望阐明这些关系的历史渊源。
