什么是TEACH奖助金？

大学和高等教育教师教育援助（TEACH）资助计划每年为正在完成或计划完成开始教学职业所需课程的学生提供高达4,000美元的资助。 The TEACH Grant is different from other federal student grants because it requires you to take certain kinds of classes in order to get the grant, and then do a certain kind of job to keep the grant from turning into a loan (studentaid.gov).

要获得TEACH补助金，教师候选人必须同意：

• You must perform the teaching service as a 高素质教师 at a low-income school or educational service agency.

全职教师候选人最高可获得3772美元。 候选人在本科或学士学位后的学习中可获得的TEACH补助金总额不得超过16,000美元。  研究生可能获得的总金额不得超过8,000美元。  如果学生注册的时间少于全日制，他们可能收到的年度教学补助金的金额必须减少。 

根据《高等教育法》第472条的规定，TEACH补助金连同学生可能获得的其他援助的金额不得超过出勤费。 If the TEACH Grant and other aid exceed the cost of attendance for an academic year, the student’s aid package must be reduced.
