经济援助办公室致力于帮助学生获得不同形式的资助，以帮助支付美高梅博彩的大学教育费用。 When applying for most types of federal and state funds, students must first complete the 免费申请联邦学生援助（FAFSA）. The preferred method to complete this application is electronically by visiting https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. 请确保在提交申请之前包括vs上学校代码（001599）。

验证

一旦我们的办公室收到FAFSA（通常在网上完成后3-4天），可能会要求额外的文件。 If a student is required to submit these additional documents, they should do so as soon as possible to https://valdosta.studentforms.com。 Please note that this process is referred to as “verification” and is required to validate the information that was entered into the FAFSA. Most commonly, when completing the “verification process”, students must provide items such as;

  • 税收记录
  • 报税表
  • 验证工作表
  • 可要求提供其他文件

及时提交所有要求的文件是避免延迟获得财政援助基金批准的关键。

奖

验证文件完成后，财政援助奖励通常在7个工作日内发布到学生的横幅账户。 

  • 奖励是基于估计的出勤费用，可以在Banner上查看，也可以在我的vs上的电子奖励报价上查看。
  • 学生有资格获得的任何助学金和/或奖学金将自动被接受/处理。
  • 学生贷款将被提供，但不会被自动接受/处理。
  • Students desiring loans must indicate in Banner Self Service that they “accept” the loan offer(s).
